Waste Development Framework Plan & Local Development Framework Plan

East Sussex & Brighton & Hove Councils will by the end of March 2007 have to bring a Waste Development Framework Plan into existance.  Should the Brighton & Hove and East Sussex County Councils’ Waste Local Plan be adopted, then this requirement will be delayed for three years.

The Waste Development Framework Plan will use the current Waste Local Plan as a material consideration.  Once again the public will have to comment/object to various phases of this development framework plan (as we have for the past six years for our existing but not adopted Waste Local Plan}.  

Please keep your eyes open for mention of scoping documents relating to this plan in either the newspapers or council agendas in Brighton & Hove as well as East Sussex.
